Clementine Layouts

Boy, I keep saying with each new paper “this is my favorite.”  I’m going to say it again, this is the neatest paper ever!  I am having the best time with the papers of this campaign.  Each Workshop on the Go (WOTG)(item G1046) is just as great as the one before it.  This has my favorite blue, Twilight, my favorite yellow, Creme Brulee, and my new favorite brown, Saddle.  I just ordered a 24 pack of Saddle and a pack of Whisper. I know it costs more to use colored paper for your backgrounds but I the way colors bring the layouts together.  I didn’t use any of the layouts in the WOTG this time.  The layouts used too much paper and not enough pictures for my taste. lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

The first set of layouts (lo) using Clementine Paper begin with Colonial White Cardstock.   The next step is edging all of the edges with Saddle Ink (item Z2171).  The Sorbet Cardstock is 10” x 11”.  Two of the corners are rounded using a corner rounder (item Z578).  The top right picture is 4” x 4”.  It is 1/4” from the side and 1” down from the top.  The bottom picture is 4” x 6”.   On the left is a Canvas Stickease (item X7156C) star down 2” and over 2” on the Sorbet piece.  The 4” x 4” picture below is approximately ½” under the star.  Some Harvest Bakers Twine (item Z1751) and a Cottage Assortment (item Z1794 or included in WOTG) flower also embellish the page. lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLlllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

lThe right page begins with a 2” x 11” Sorbet piece with the right corners edged.  Each stripe is 2” x 10” and ¼” is allowed between stripes.  The top 4” x 6” picture is down 3 ½” from the top of the page and ¼” from the left side.  The two 4” x 4”  are placed 3” from the left with ¼” between them.  I used another Cottage Assortment flower and two paisley Canvas Stickease.  Then  I got CRAZZEEE with some of the new Brown and Tan Sparkles Assortment (item Z1753 included in WOTG).  So just have fun with your Bling. lBLING.llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

The second set of LO also start with Colonial White Cardstock.  Once again I edged all of my pieces with Saddle Ink.  I think this is going to be a favorite of mine.   Starting from the left the Twilight horizontal stripe is 3” wide by 12” long.  The next stripe is a brown zip strip.  This is followed with the Sorbet Canvas Border.  I started the paper pieces from the right.   All of the smaller pieces are 3 ½” wide.  The brown paper and all of the smaller pictures are 3 ½” x 4”.  The Creme Brulee piece is 2” long.    “Friends forever is a piece of Zip Strip and the stars are Canvas Stickease.

On the opposite page each of the pieces is 3 ½” wide and 4” long except the one picture is 4” 6”.   I held the pages together and placed the star I cut with an exacto knife.  I will send everyone the denim pocket via snail mail.  The Twilight strip is 1 ½” by 12”.  Then the other brown zip strip finished the right edge.  The title was cut using the new Artiste cartridge.  I will be glad to cut any title you want for your page just e-mail me at lilylori1950@yahoo.com.  I think these are good LOs for beginners because so many cuts are the same. lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllsame.lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

The last two page Los are super simple and fast.  Another bonus is they don’t take much paper.  A 12” x 10” rectangle placed 2” from the top.   The little flower piece is 8” x 8” placed ½” from the right side.  The Twilight print is 12” x 1” and it is positioned right on top of the Sorbet piece.  The Sorbet zip strip is 1” from the bottom of the page right under the Sorbet print.  The two big pictures are both 4” x 6”.  I place the higher picture first.  It is positioned in ¼” from both sides of the little flower print.  I used the big Friends Stickease on the Twilight stripe.  The small picture is 2” x 2” placed down 4” from the top.  The finishing touch is three Cottage flowers grouped together.  Then…Ta-da get the brown and tan glitzies out and have fun.lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

Talk about simple this has to be it!  The Twilight print is 1” x 12” placed 1 ½” from the top.  Next I used four 4” x 6” pictures mounted together.  The remaining Sorbet zip strip is used under the pictures.  I applied a Cottage flower in the middle of the pictures so they didn’t run together as much.

I had quite a bit of paper left after I finished these LOs so you can easily make the cards.  I used almost all of the flowers from the Cottage Assortment and I made a big “dent” in the rhinestones that came with the Workshop on the Go (WOTG).  I bought the Canvas Stickease too.  You could almost get by with a paper packet.  Just remember you don’t get as much paper in the paper only packet and by the time your done adding embellishments it’s almost the same price as the WOTG.
